Exit Intent is a marketing technique that detects when a user is about to leave a website—usually by tracking mouse movements toward the browser’s close button or navigation bar—and triggers a targeted message or offer. Common exit intent strategies include pop-ups with discounts, lead magnets, or reminders to complete a purchase. The goal is to capture user attention before abandonment, reduce bounce rates, and increase conversions, especially in e-commerce and lead generation funnels.
