The Fogg Behavior Model explains how user behavior is driven by the combination of motivation, ability, and triggers. According to the model, for a behavior to occur, a person must be sufficiently motivated, have the ability to perform the action, and be prompted by a trigger at the right time. If any of these elements are missing, the desired behavior is unlikely to happen. This framework is widely used in growth marketing and UX design to build more effective user journeys and habits.
